Great Britain squad to compete at SH Netz Cup announced

Eleven GB rowers will compete for Great Britain at the SH Netz Cup in Rendsburg, Germany this weekend

Rio 2016 gold medallist Will Satch MBE will line up as part of the Great Britain crew, who will compete in a series of races against crews from Germany, USA and Netherlands between Friday and Sunday.

Alan Sinclair and Adam Neill will also join the team, as will two of the gold medallists from this year’s World U23 Rowing Championships: Charlie Elwes, who was part of the men’s four, and William Stewart who raced in the men’s eight.

Athletes will take part in indoor rowing sprint races on Friday night, followed by on-water sprints on Saturday evening. On Sunday afternoon the four nations will race over a 12.75km course along the Kiel Canal.
