Reports and results for both events are below. These county/city based events follow on from the first phase of competition run by individual School Sports Partnerships. Cornwall Championships A total of 172 pupils from 10 different secondary schools competed in the Cornwall County Indoor Rowing Championships on January 27th, held at Newquay Tretherras. Full event report Event results (pdf) Plymouth Championships The event, which for the first time was open to schools from West Devon, attracted 185 students from 14 secondary schools. Full event report Event results (pdf) Following on from this latest round of competition the next phase will see schools take part in the UCP Marjon Regional Schools Championships on March 2nd. The culmination of the 2010 programme will see several schools from the West Region travel to London to attend the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships on March 16th.
