Evesham RC cancels Junior Head
Evesham Rowing Club’s Junior Head on October 19th has been cancelled, owing to building works on the Abbey Bridge.
“Although we were advised by the Abbey Road Bridge contractors… that there would be no disruption to our race schedule, this is now not the case,” said Event Secretary Jane Griffiths, in a notice posted on the official Evesham RC website.
“[The contractors] now state that bridge works will not be suspended on the 19th October, and hence are not allowing us to proceed with the Junior Head due to Health and Safety considerations.
“We look forward to seeing you at future events.”
