Events
The GB Rowing Team is the high performance arm of British Rowing. Rowing is the nation’s most continuously successful Olympic sport, having won a gold medal in every Olympic Games since 1984, and has won six Paralympic golds since the sport was introduced to the Paralympic Games programme in 2008.

Ollie Stanhope joined the GB Rowing Team in 2017 and stormed to victory at his first ever World Championships in Sarasota, Florida.
Ollie started rowing at Walton Rowing Club in 2008 before taking up the sport at Hampton school in 2014. He raced in the Temple Challenge Cup at HRR in 2015 before moving up to the first eight to contest the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup in 2016. In 2017 Ollie raced with Molesey in the Thames Cup ahead of successfully breaking into the PR3 4+.
Away from rowing, Ollie studies Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes and likes to stay up to date with the latest technology – he recently built his own computer. Ollie comes from a family of rowers with both parents having rowed at the Olympic Games.
