Olivia Bates is a lightweight sculler.
She took silver in the Women’s lightweight single scull at the European Rowing U23 Championships in 2021, and bronze in 2022.
Still in the Lightweight single, she placed 12th at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in 2022 after falling ill and being unable to start the B Final.
She made her senior debut in 2023, finishing eighth at the European Rowing Championships.
