Home International Rowing Beach Sprints
The Home International Rowing Beach Sprints builds on the rich history of its sister event the Home International Rowing Regatta

England Rowing
The Home International Rowing Beach Sprints is a new event with the four “Home Nations” of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales competing.
The event is building off the rich history of its sister event the Home International Rowing Regatta, which has seen many Olympians racing for their first international representation. The event is a great opportunity to gain experience in the Beach Sprint format if you have hopes to row for England at the Commonwealth Games in 2026.
Team Selection
Selection for the England Beach Sprint Team for the Home International Rowing Beach Sprints 2023 will take place as part of the British Rowing Beach Sprint Championships, on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of July.
We welcome and encourage entries from anyone who meets the eligibility requirements to represent England. This information, as well as full details of the 2023 England Selection Policy, can be found using the link below.
England Beach Sprint Team Selection Policy (Updated 23/05/2023)
British Rowing is responsible for the selection of individuals and crews representing England only. Teams for Scotland & Wales are selected by Scottish Rowing and Welsh Rowing respectively. See section 3a British Rowing: Articles of Association
Training Day
Before the Home International Regatta, we host a training day, held at TBC on TBC. This is an opportunity to bring together rowers and coaches from across the country to support the development of the team. We encourage all selected rowers and coaches to attend where possible.
