Ocean Thunder World Surf Rowing Championship Arrival
A tingle tore down the surfboat world’s collective spine earlier this month with the news that the Ocean Thunder World Surf Rowing Championship has been confirmed for 5-6 September 2009 in Biarritz, SW France.
Race Director, Richard Meadmore, said: "I fully expect we’ll have the best crews from Europe and the southern hemisphere going for it again in some of the most testing conditions in the world."
Those interested need to register early. There is a limit on numbers and entry fees double after 28 February.
