The Lord Mayor of London has issued an invitation for teams of indoor rowers from across the country to compete in the City Indoor Rowing Championships – part of the Fit for the Future appeal.
Teams of five indoor rowers will compete in the unique event – held in the iconic surroundings of The Guildhall, London, on Tuesday 28 February.
There are four categories for teams (elite, men’s, women’s, and mixed), and three different race formats – timed heats, a repechage round, and finals.
The fastest relay teams and top fund-raisers will receive ‘money can’t buy’ prizes.
Spaces for the one-off event are extremely limited, and interested teams should contact amanda.sinke@bartsandthelondon.nhs.uk or call 020 7332 9340.
