Scottish and Overseas Entries
Information for Scottish and overseas clubs on how to enter British Rowing affiliated events using BROE2

Non-British Rowing (Overseas) clubs and Scottish clubs wishing to enter British Rowing-affiliated competitions must use the British Rowing Online Entry (BROE2) system to make their entries, but do not have to be affiliated to British Rowing to do so.
If your club has not previously entered a competition using BROE you will need to contact our Competitions Administrator to be set up before you will be able to make your entry.
Competition Calendar
Get dates for future regattas and head races and links to their websites.
All crews boating on unfamiliar waters should ensure that they are aware of local conditions and understand the safety requirements.
Boat ID stickers
If you are bringing your own boat, you must display Boat ID Stickers on both sides of your boat.
If you don’t already have your boat identification code (related to your club) please contact British Rowing by emailing clubs@britishrowing.org. Once British Rowing has issued you with the code, you can buy Boat ID stickers from http://www.nickosticko.me; other suppliers are also available.
Environment Agency Boat Registrations
If you are planning to bring your own boat to compete on waters managed by the Environment Agency (EA) then you will need to purchase an EA registration for that boat. You can either organise an annual registration for your boat through British Rowing as a non-EA based club or you can apply for a temporary registration from the EA itself.

Understanding the tidal Thames
Crews visiting to compete or tour on the tidal Thames are advised to look at the Port of London Authority guidance for useful information available in French, German and Italian.
How good and experienced is your crew?
Competitors from associations other than British Rowing might have a Personal Ranking Index (PRI) that does not fully reflect their ability as the records this relates to are limited to British Rowing affiliated competitions and overseas representation for Great Britain. Such crews are advised to provide the competition with details of their racing history with the understanding that their governing body may be contacted. This is to ensure that the competitors/crews are entered into an appropriate event for their experience and crew record.
Composite crews
Composite crews containing members of British Rowing and competitors from other National Governing bodies (including Scottish Rowing) must be entered using BROE2. Individual rowers who are not members of the submitting club will have to provide their racing licence number to the club’s online entries administrator.
Crew substitutions
Crew Substitutions must be made in BROE2 and clubs should ensure that they have the correct online entry access. Crew changes must usually be made before race day but the deadline will be up to the individual competition.
